Creation Project
To complete your 3 credits to go towards your Arts & Cultural Band, you must complete enough activities below to earn 15 points. There is no time frame for this activity - completing all 15 points in 6 weeks or a Term, all timeframes are acceptable. you can choose all activities from one column or all different if you wish. Work to your own schedule to complete the points. All work must be to a high personal standard.

Using scratch invent and design your own pacman game or variation. (4)

Create a moving object, (Robot, car, boat), that can propel itself in some way, use lego, or any other gear you can lay your hands on. (5)

Design a bird feeder made from recycled materials.

Write a short play that role plays one or more of our AIM values at school. (4)

Start to learn an instrument, with lessons or perhaps tutorials from on the internet. (4)

Design from scratch something useful to print on the 3d printer. Use tinkercad to design your object.

Using Electronics (circuits and wire) make a game that is battery operated, that involves either a buzzer, light or motor. (5)

Design and build a model land yacht. Measure the distance it will travel away from a single electric fan

Create a dance that is easy to teach to a class at school (the song has to be appropriate). Then teach a class - organise with your teacher (5)

Write a song! Use an existing song and change the lyrics or write your own composition. (5)

Create a new blog and make some tutorials using programmes (explain everything, video) or other tools showing how to do things involving ICT e.g. how to do a screenshot, or how to use tinkercad… (6)

Using one of the robotic kits at school (this will have to be done at school) to make a robot that can either pick something up or throw an object. (6

Design and make a skate ramp for at school for scooters/skateboards etc.

Create a day in your life video, all filmed and produced by you! (6)
Or other production - maybe for a short film festival!

Perform a short piece in front of an audience -e.g. senior syndicate, assembly or family at home (with video evidence) you could sing, play an instrument or both! (6)
